Durga: Matrika Shakti Sadhana

Matrika Shakti Sadhana is a powerful practice that awakens the Shakti of Maa Durga within our mind and subtle energy body, energizing, purifying and vitalizing our chakras through mantra chanting, mudras and visualization.

The practice unfolds across three interwoven dimensions.

1. Devi Katha & Smaran

Through the narration of Durga Devi’s battles and victories from the sacred Devi Mahatmyam, we immerse ourselves in the glorious retelling of Maa Durga’s triumph over the Asuric forces tormenting the Devatas, restoring the natural order and harmony.

These same Asuric forces continue to wreak havoc in our contemporary lives, often manifesting as inner demons. Just as the Devatas invoked Maa Durga for protection, we too can seek her grace and Shakti to overcome them.

2. Matrika Mantra Shakti

The Matrika mantras are a collection of 50 powerful bija mantras, or seed sounds, inscribed upon the petals of our chakras. They serve as vibrational keys to our subtle anatomy, acting as tuning forks that clear blockages, invigorate the chakras and activate their unique spiritual powers.

Each of the six chakras corresponds to one of Durga Devi’s battles, reflecting the inner challenges we seek to overcome. Chanting these mantras realigns our body and soul with the fundamental vibrations of nature and divine protection.

3. The Sadhana

Through this three-day sacred practice, we invoke the protective grace of Maa Durga. Yoga mudras and guided visualization, woven together with mantra chanting, enhance the potency of the sadhana, leading the seeker towards deep contemplation and inner transformation.

Together, these practices become a timeless sadhana we can return to whenever we seek support, protection, strength or courage under the radiant gaze of Maa Durga.

The workshop also includes:

• Exploring six battles from the Devi Mahatmyam and their correspondence with the six chakras.
• Understanding the inner challenges and Asuric forces associated with each chakra.
• Chanting the Matrika mantras corresponding to the chakra petals.
• Learning Yoga mudras and guided visualization to enhance the practice.
• Simple chakra sketches and mantra notation to support learning and contemplation.
• Guidance on integrating Matrika Shakti Sadhana into a regular personal practice.
• A companion guide covering the six sets of Asuric forces, their corresponding chakras, Matrika mantras, and associated attributes and challenges.
• Workshop recordings with unlimited access.

• A notebook
• Pencil and eraser
• Pens
• A few colored pencils
• A stable desk or flat surface for writing and simple illustrative exercises

Please note that all purchases are non-refundable.

If you need to cancel your booking, you may do so at least 24 hours in advance to receive store credit equal to the amount paid. This credit can be applied toward a future workshop or product of equal or lesser value, subject to availability.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session or no-shows will not be eligible for store credit or refunds.

A Quick Note About Course Scheduling

Group immersion dates are announced approximately 1 month in advance.

If a scheduled course date changes, you will receive advance notice and will have the option to transfer your registration to the next available immersion or receive store credit equal to the amount paid.

Private one-to-one immersions are scheduled through mutual agreement between student and guide.
